Ritmo®-05 Ex metering pumps in explosion-proof version are designed for dosing of liquid and gaseous media in the gas class 2B in hazardous areas of zone 1 and 2 (with the exception of gases of Class IIC – such as hydrogen; acetylene or carbon disulphide).

The explosion-proof security is based on protection class EEx p and consists of a pump housing with Ex e approval and an Ex p control unit with rinsing and pressure control function, proportional valve technology with automatic leakage compensation and an decoupled PTFE pump head from the Ex housing.
Approval according to the EC Directive 94/9 / EC.

Classification Ex II 2G EX eb mb pxb IIB T4.

Use in the environment with the classification ATEX II 2 GD T4 (zone 1 and 2)

Housing in in IP54 version.

From Ex-housing decoupled PTFE pump head to avoid intrusion of dosing liquid or gas into the Ex-proof housing.

Flushing connection for the creation of a housing overpressure (max. 12 mbar) with air / compressed air or nitrogen (flushing volume 50 liters).

In Ex-housing integrated Ex p control unit with rinsing and pressure control function and automatic leakage compensation.

Ex-terminal box is laid out for the power supply 230 VAC.

Process capability and automation via analog (4-20mA) and digital interfaces (RS232), with interface relay and in fixed installations on Ex-terminal box.

Compressed air connection with proportional valve technology for the pressurization of the pump housing.

Pump in version R05-Ex-TH with thermal fluid is up to 120°C heatable ( Lessthan temperature class T4) or with a cooling medium cooled.
