Manganese Test Kit

OverviewSpecificationsResources
Procedure: Small amount of sample is collected in a test tube and the corresponding reagent is added to the sample. Color of the sample changes and the same is compared with the respective color chart. The reading of the matched color on the color chart is the concentration of the respective parameter in the water.

The PAN method is a highly sensitive and rapid procedure for detecting low levels of manganese. An ascorbic acid reagent is used initially to reduce all oxidized forms of manganese to Mn2+. An alkaline-cyanide reagent is added to mask any potential interference. PAN Indicator is then added to combine with the Mn2+ to form an orange-colored complex
